Frequently asked questions

PERFUME QUESTIONS

How much perfume should I use for a regular wash?

Depending on the strength of your perfume and your sense of smell, we think that 5 ml per load is sufficient.  You can adjust the fragrance upwards but not more than 15 ml per load or you will have to rewash everything because the fragrance is so strong. In addition, to comply with Ifra (The International Fragrance Association) standards, it is recommended not to exceed 15 ml per load.

Will the perfumes stain my clothes?

Our perfumes do not stain clothes even on white!  We recommend mixing the perfume with your soap, in water or directly into the appropriate laundry container.

Can I do my laundry only with my perfume?

Although our perfumes have a degreasing power, it is better to use them with a laundry detergent.  You can use less laundry detergent.

Can I use your fragrances on baby clothes?

Yes, at the recommended dosage, our fragrances are approved for babies' soft skin.

Do your products contain terpene which is considered carcinogenic?

Some of our perfumes contain them but not in their pure essence. It is true that there may be natural raw materials that are now classified as potential carcinogens (endocrine disruptors) in the pure essence. This comes from terpenes that are naturally present in citrus fruits. Our perfumes are therefore safe and approved for health.

SOAP QUESTIONS

Can I use any unscented laundry detergent on the market with your fragrances?

Yes, definitely. Most of the laundry detergents on the market work very well with our perfumes. We have, however, stabilized our fragrances with our own brand of high performance laundry detergent, Mousseline. You can get it from our online store. https://www.odora.com/us/laundry-soap/

Is your soap gentle enough for baby's clothes?

Yes, it cleans without being aggressive and does not make clothes stiff.
